I'm Maria, a Chilean illustrator based in Seattle. In 2023, our son was born and I started thinking about how newer generations will experience the joy of making art.

 

Monona is an old Chilean slang word that means cute, delicate and charming. These words from home, inspired me into combining my passions for paper, cute girls and sparkly hair to create a paper dolls art kit.

 

I want people to feel the thrill of making art with their own big or small hands.
